Get ready to set sail on a hilarious musical adventure! Join Christchurch G&S Society at Iveshead Theatre in Shepshed for a fresh, feel-good production of The Gondoliers, reimagined in the vibrant world of 2010.
Bursting with catchy melodies, laugh-out-loud comedy and colourful characters, this modern take on Gilbert and Sullivan’s much-loved classic is packed with fun for the whole family.
Sullivan’s vibrant musical score features the lively choral number ‘Dance a Cachucha’ and the beautiful solos ‘When a merry maiden marries’, and ‘Take a pair of sparkling eyes’. A talented live orchestra will bring the score to life.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or discovering The Gondoliers for the first time, you’ll be swept away by an evening of romance, mistaken identities and unforgettable entertainment. Don’t miss this joyful celebration of music, laughter and community!
The Gondoliers is directed by Adrian Dobson with Meng Khaw as Musical Director.
